Pair two browsers. MIDI travels peer-to-peer when possible and automatically uses the encrypted signaling connection as a fallback.

Receiver setup

From browser
to your DAW.

The receiving computer needs a MIDI output that your DAW can listen to. On macOS, enable an IAC Driver bus in Audio MIDI Setup. On Windows, select an installed virtual MIDI loopback port.

    Create a session

    Press Create session on the controller device, then open the receiver link on the computer running the DAW.

    Select the receiver output

    On the receiving browser, enable MIDI and choose the virtual port or connected hardware destination.

    Map your DAW controls

    Use MIDI learn for the four faders, pads and transport buttons. The mappings remain stable between sessions.

Short-lived pairing.

Network rooms expire after 30 minutes. The pairing code is the receiver credential, and MIDI uses WebRTC encryption whenever a direct connection is available.
